Fascinating Septarian Egg from Madagascar that has been hand carved!
Septarian eggs are Septarian nodules that have been carved and polished. The natural pattern of the Septarian looks like dragon skin, hence where the name "Dragon Egg" comes from.
This particular specimen has two terrific turtles carved along the edge of the egg and beautiful druzy black and white crystals inside.
