Cool place

Cool place, my recent rock and mineral obsession brought us here, we were on vacation from Louisiana and just stumbled upon this place. It was awesome and their prices were very reasonable compared to other rock and mineral stores I have visited across the country.

I love this store. It’s like Heaven to me. I was just there and won this beautiful orthoceras specimen that I just love in their grand opening drawing today. Not to mention all the other stuff I bought there today such as grape agate, different kinds of fluorite, white rose calcite, cubed fluorite, and the list goes on…..Thank you so much Red Stone!!!!

GREAT PLACE FOR AN OLD FOSSIL TO SEE OTHER OLD FOSSILS

EXCELLENT EXPEREINCE ALL THE WAY AROUND!!! I have been driving by here for at least forever it seems waiting for them to open...and it was definitely worth the wait!
First you have easy access right off the main road, the parking lot is spacious and the spots are wide enough that you don't worry about crowding.
The sore itself seems bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. Very spacious, wide aisles to go down without feeling claustrophobic. Very, very, clean( inside and out). And maybe it was because it was a bazillki0n and one degrees outside but the AC felt like an Arctic blast!! There is a nice clean restroom and there is a park bench that you can set and rest on if needed( like if you were with a child needing something or just an older person needing to rest)
The young man working was very personable, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction!!
Now for what they have in the store...WHAT DONT THEY HAVE?? They have every color of the rainbow, every type of fossil you could imagine!! Each has a nice thorough explanatory note with it telling history about that particular ,stone, fossil or gem. There is a place where you can pan/sluice for rocks/gems and there is a place where you can buy a geode and have it split to reveal the wonders inside!
I would say this is a grade school kid friendly store with stuff for them to enjoy and see without the folks being worried about too much.
The prices were very good I thought and I will definitely be back and with some grandkids in tow next time!!

We love this store!

I took my son with me and we made some amazing memories here. We got a big bucket and sifted it and found some amazing stuff. We also cracked open 2 geodes and one was an amethyst!! We a few other goodies and Kimi was an amazing help with any questions we had.

Great little shop with good prices

Great little shop with good prices. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. Well worth the trip down to the shop.

Red Stone is a very nice rock and fossil store!! I really enjoyed looking around, and I'm very happy with what I purchased. The owner was very kind and helpful, and everything was set up neatly and in an aesthetically pleasing way. They also have a neat digging/mining area for kids! I will definitely be coming back to shop soon!
