This beautiful fossil is a Crinoid Plate. Crinoids are sometimes called "Sea Lillies" because of their flower like appearance. These free-floating animals lived on the sea floor filtering the water for their food.
Each plate is unique in their detail and coloring. Pairing the plates with our Septarian Sphere and Trilobite gives a fantastic fossil feel!
On this particular specimen you can see the fantastic detail of the Crinoid and the stems!
