Perfect Crinoid Plate

This beautiful fossil is a Crinoid Plate. Crinoids are sometimes called "Sea Lillies" because of their flower like appearance. These free-floating animals lived on the sea floor filtering the water for their food.

Each plate is unique in their detail and coloring. Pairing the plates with our Septarian Sphere and Trilobite gives a fantastic fossil feel!

This particular specimen has impeccable natural detail from the tiny crinoid stems to the lovely top of the Sea Lilly. This plate will not be on our shelves for long!
