Naturally Formed Rose Rock
Naturally Formed Rose Rock
This is one of Oklahoma's Barite Rosette, or better known as the "Rose Rock". Rose rocks are composed of the mineral, "Barite"! The beautiful dusty red coloring and crystal "blades" give this rock it's name because it resembles that of a rose. The crystal blades can form in various sizes and directions, each rose rock is very different and unique. Some are found in clusters and others are single.
This stunning Rose Rock has a long formation on one side and an interesting rose shape on the other side. Pair with our Ammonites or Calcite Towers for a great looking display!
