Fascinating hand carved Septarian Egg from Madagascar! Septarian eggs are Septarian nodules that have been carved and polished. The natural pattern of the Septarian looks like dragon skin, hence where the name "Dragon Egg" comes from.
This particular specimen has a cute, little turtle carved at the top of the egg and beautiful druzy black crystals inside. Although this egg looks great on a shelf displayed by itself, it also pairs nicely with our Grape Agate!
