Large Moss Agate Sphere! This specimen is just fascinating!!
Agate is a variety of chalcedony, with a wide variety of colors. (Chalcedony is a form of Quartz) Moss Agate has leafy green patterns resembling moss growth: these are the result of green dendritic mineral inclusions of manganese and iron within the stone.
This particular sphere has gorgeous blue hues and an "earth like" appearance! Moss Agate Spheres look great paired with our Selenite Bowls and Michigan Copper!
